seasaltkeys | Day 20 -Video/Action for Goldenrod [Backedated to just before the snow]

[The feed clicks on. The pokegear's being held by Fearow today, since Roxas has his hands full. He's managed to save enough for a bike. Not that he knows much about bikes, but he's seen people in Goldenrod with them and they look useful, so he figured he could try it to. He figures it's all about balance and he's good at skateboarding, and that involves balance, so it shouldn't be too hard, right ? Right?

So, he's on the bike, and after a few wobbly starts, he's on his way, sort of. Slowly but surely, he's moving forward. He's getting the pedalling part, and making his way down the street, which is on a bit of a hill, and oh no starting to speed up how do I stop? The image kind of gets distorted at this point, as Fearow has taken off to follow Roxas, but you can hear sounds of the bike and cries from the pokemon, especially Sparky.]

KER--AAASH!!!

[The image finally gets back to normal, only to show a rather bent up bike in front of a lamppost. Roxas is lying beside it, sort of tangled up in it. It's obvious that his pants are torn, and his elbow and knee are scrapped. The feed doesn't catch it, but it's the same for the other elbow, and he's got a bump on his head. He doesn't look too happy, or willing to get up.]

Damn it.

[ooc: First action post will be the one to take Roxas to a place to treat injuries like the inn or pokemon center. Subsequent action threads will be at either aforementioned location to avoid confusion. Video probably won't get you Roxas, but a rather panicked Pikachu. Tags will be slow and most will probably come tomorrow morning]

I'm fin--Ow!

[He winces, the pain is all over so he just kind of sinks down in defeat again. It hurts too much to move. Sparky is fussing over him, trying to use the dishcloth on the blood and work the potion bottle]

[ she does a bit of a double-take for a minute because what the Ven-- oh wait. ]

Yeah, you sound perfectly fine. [ to Sparky ] Can I see that bottle?

Chu! [He hands her the bottle. Plz help, how does I work it?]

[Roxas doesn't really say anything. He just wants to keep the pain down.]

Can you move everything okay? [ Rise scrutinizes the Potion-- truthfully, she's only used an Antidote on herself, so she's got no idea if this works on humans, but she's carefully spraying the scrapes she can see. ] Though I guess if you'd broken something, you'd probably be making a whole lot of noise.

I...I think so. It just hurts..

[He's sort of covering his face. He feels really pathetic]

[ Rise studies him, an understanding smile on her face. ]

The first time I rode a bike, I hit a pole.

It looked easy, so I thought I could do it.

[Trying to stand up again, he wants to get away]

... So does ice-skating. [ sigh, moving closer to help him up. ] Here, lean on me if you need it.

[Lean. Roxas is favoring his left foot, since the right one was under the bike and sort of hurts. There might also be a Blissey coming to help courtesy of Aerith]

[ oh good, because Rise probably isn't big enough to get them moving at a very good pace. And now she remembers this one, so she flashes him a grin as she steadies him and loops an arm around his waist. ]

It's been awhile, Roxas!

[...surprise! Roxas didn't expect to be remembered because Cherrygrove was a long time ago and before Ven.]

You...remember me?

[ well, that explains the deja vu feeling she got when she met Ven. Rise's still all smiles, nodding. ]

Of course! Sparky's gotten so big, too.

[Blissey will have finally arrives to the scene while running as quickly as her tiny legs will let her. She notices two familiar people at the spot her master asked her to go. Lady Rise and Sir Roxas? A bright smile will be on her lips.]

Blissey~!

[Lady Rise, you look well today!]

Ka-chu~

[Slight smile. He didn't expect to be remembered since it was a while back. There's a glance at the Blissey as well.]

It's...Rise, right?

Hey, you remembered! [ Rise beams up at him, giving Blissey an equally bright smile. ] Do you mind supporting him on the other side?

[Blissey will nod her head and do as she was told by standing at his other side. The big pink pokemon will get close to Roxas, so he could grab onto her or something. Don't worry, she is a pretty strong pokemon.]

[Lean on Blissey. He'll kind of be hopping along since his ankle/foot is sore]

I...try not to forget things. It's been a while though.

Yeah, seriously... like months.

But first priority-- to the Center~! [ TALLYHO, BLISSEY. ]

[Blissey will hold onto Roxas before nodding her head happily at the order.]

[Blissey will slowly start moving.]

[Roxas will be awkwardly hopping along.]

Yeah, it's been a while since I was in Cherrygrove.

Same here. We both came a long way, huh?

[ thank you, Blissey. She's keeping Roxas steady as she can. ]

[No problem. Just doing a good deed for one of her trainer's friends. They will keep walking some more. Walk, walk, walk.]
